Welcome to LES, Madison Crumpton!
"Hi! My name is Madison Crumpton, and I am thrilled to be joining the Laurens Elementary family as a Special Education teacher! I recently graduated from Presbyterian College with bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Special Education. I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence, independence, and academic success while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, included, and celebrated. One of my favorite parts of teaching is creating fun, hands-on lessons that give every student different ways to learn and succeed.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy cooking, exploring the Carolinas, making memories with my family, and spending a little too much money trying out new crafts. I can't wait to get to know each of my students and their families, and I'm excited for a wonderful school year together!"

Welcome to LES, Brantley Wiggins!
"I'm excited to be returning home to Laurens Elementary as the Reading Coach! This marks my 20th year in education, with 17 years spent teaching in early childhood and Lower Montessori classrooms, followed by the last two years serving as an instructional coach. Having previously spent nine wonderful years teaching at Laurens Elementary, I'm thrilled to be back and look forward to supporting our teachers, inspiring young readers, and helping students grow. I can't wait to see what this new chapter brings! "

Welcome to LES, Katie George!
"Hello, my name is Kathleen George, but I go by Katie. I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University (GCU) with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I will be teaching STARS II at Laurens Elementary this school year. I am very excited about the upcoming year because I feel led to teach students who have special needs and unique abilities.
I have been married to my husband for 21 years and we have two children. Travis is 24 and recently graduated from Clemson with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Marissa is 19 and is attending GCU online for her degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. Marissa is autistic and has given me a personal education on patience, compassion, and understanding which is why I feel God is leading me down this path in Special Ed.
I am looking forward to a great school year with my sweet new friends!"

Welcome to LES, Melissa Robinson!
"This year will be my 20th year in education. My husband, Bryan, and I live in Fountain Inn with our daughter, Anna Reese. I grew up in Gray Court, and have proudly spent the majority of my career teaching in Laurens 55. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades, and served as an academic interventionist. It’s exciting to be back in the district that raised me both as a student and a teacher. As the new librarian, I look forward to connecting with the students and staff as part of the Laurens Elementary family!"
