National Volunteer Recognition Week!
Mrs. Flaniken and Ms. McCraney's classes had a sight word egg hunt this morning. They had sight words in the eggs. The students had to find one egg and get in their teacher’s line to read it. If they got it correct it went in our basket and if they got it wrong it went back out for someone else to hunt. So much fun!
Congratulations to these five students who have leveled up in Lexia English. They have been putting in a lot of time and working hard! One of our students is now on level 17 out of 19 levels! (Go Juana!)

Parents,
Most art classes will be diving into the beautifully messy realm of chalk pastels this week. Students may not want to wear their best shirts on art day or parents may want to send a cover up shirt to wear during art class while we create our masterpieces!
